Background
and objective
ZIBO is one of the oldest and important
industrial cities in Shandong Province.
The material industry is its traditional
industry and has been playing a vital
role in the local economic development.
With the advent of new materials and
technology in the world, the city
has attached great importance to research
and development and commercialization
of new materials and technologies,
such as advanced ceramic, new refractory,
synthetic quartz, compound and nanometer
materials, etc. Now ZIBO city has
developed 180 kinds of hi-tech products
in the field of new materials with
total output value up to 12.1 billion
Yuan RMB (US$1.3 billion approximately).
ZIBO city recently decided to convene
an international forum and technology
fair on new materials and technologies
in order to bring international providers
and seekers on a common platform to
promote international technical cooperation
in research and business development.
Major activities
Eminent Chinese scientists and overseas
experts will give presentations on
international development on new materials
and technologies.
During the Forum, a technology exposition
will be held in order to provide Chinese
and foreign enterprises as well as
institutions an opportunity to exhibit
their new products and technologies
and hold business discussions between
technology suppliers and seekers.

3.High quality heat insulating materials

Exhibition
space
Each participating institution/company
would be allocated a booth to display
their technologies and products free
of charge on first come first serve
basis. However, a nominal registration
fee of US$200 dollars per unit is
required to be paid.
Hotels and
local transportation
The organizers would be willing to
provide the foreign participants with
an accommodation package at a most
favourable price once they received
the confirmation of participation.
The accommodation package will include
the lodging and boarding and local
transportation, etc. during the forum.
