APCTT in cooperation with IROST (Iranian Research Organisation for Science & Technology) is organizing an international workshop on February 17-18, 2003 in Tehran, Islamic Republic of Iran. The Central Women's Committee of the Islamic Republic of Iran will be the co-organizer and the Iranian Ministry of Agriculture, Industry & Mines and the Agricultural Bank of Iran are the sponsors. The objective of this workshop is to build the capacities of institutions in the region involved with training urban, micro and small women entrepreneurs by introducing technology management concepts for technology based enterprises.

There are several micro and small women entrepreneurs in the participating countries. Such a workshop would build the capacities of training institutions that train women entrepreneurs to make the right choice of technology in order to enhance their competitiveness. Participants would be from Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan & Sri Lanka.
