APCTT approaches prospective technology
buyers through various channels (e.g. business
periodicals, databanks, networks of technology
brokers, international business meets) or
directly. APCTT is to be compensated for
its services by a success fee in the event
of technology transfer agreement materializing.
Usually the success fee payable by the client
company is calculated according to the following
formula: 5%, but now Iess than US$ 4,000
if contract size is below US$ 100,000; 4%
for contracts from US$ 100,000 to US$ 200,000;
3'%. for contracts US$ 200,000 to US$ 500,000;
2% for contracts from US$ 500,000 to US$
1 million, and 1% thereafter. The success
fee may also vary depending on specific
search conditions.
Advertising through APCTT
periodical and website:
APCTT disseminates information on technology
opportunities through its bi-monthly periodical
"Asia-Pacific Tech Monitor" and
website. Advertisement tariff for publishing
the technology offer and posting on APCTT
website is US$ 50 or Ind.Rs. 2,000.

APCTT approaches prospective technology
suppliers through various channels (e.g.
business periodicals, databanks, networks
of technology brokers, international business
meets) or directly. APCTT is to be compensated
for its services by a success fee of 1%
of the value of the contract in the event
of technology transfer agreement materializing.
To initiate the partner search/match-making
process, technology seekers should place
with APCTT a non refundable deposit of US$
50/Ind.Rs.2,000 which would be adjusted
in the final payment. The deposit would
be used for publishing of the Technology
Request in the APCTT's bimonthly periodical
"Asia-Pacific Tech Monitor", its
dissemination among technology brokers and
posting on APCTT website.
