Background
INTET ASIA was established by the Asian
and Pacific Centre for Transfer of Technology
(APCTT) in 1994. The objective of the network
is to facilitate transfer of environmentally
sound technologies (ESTs), both manufacturing
and cleaning ones to small and medium-scale
enterprises (SMEs).

INTET ASIA members are companies/organisations
located in or having business interests
in Asia. It has formed business partnerships
in more than 20 countries worldwide. As
of June 2004, INTET ASIA has had members
in Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, Nepal, Netherlands,
Nigeria, Pakistan, Philippines, Qatar, Russia,
Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, United Arab
Emirates, and United Kingdom. Membership
Fees: INTET ASIA annual membership fee is
US$ 200 (or Ind.Rs. 5,000) for companies
from developing countries and US$ 300 for
companies from developed countries.
