Object Segmentation in Still Images
A European research group of a multinational company is looking for a consumer software tool that will extract an image of a person in 2 or 3 clicks on a PC or touch type device. The research group seeks an organisation with demonstrated image processing ability to enable automatic (or maybe semi-automatic) human contour detection, segmentation and extraction from still images for re-use in composite scenes, with extension to other object classes over time. Technology should be reasonably robust and ready for demonstration and near-term commercial application.
